I am kinda surprised they would draft a guy who had academic fraud issues (possibly?)

At worst he is a cheat for no reason, and at best a dummy who needed help on a test or whatever

Dorsey definitely went of the reservation this year with Russell (academic fraud) and Hill (woman beater).

He's currently 1 for 2. Let's hope it doesn't get to 0-2.

To be fair he cheated on a test. At a normal school it's a game suspension I believe. Notre Dame is a year

Yup, I think he'll end up being a solid pickup for the Bengals, given some time.

Perfect fit at SOLB. He was penciled in to start there for the Jets before he got hurt.

He was terrible. Belichick went after him the majority of the game.

I have to laugh at all the people saying "We cant continue to miss this bad on 3rd round picks."

No shit Sherlock, I am fairly confident Dorsey and Reid aren't slapping each other on the back and high fiving each other. They obviously ****ed up and I am sure learned from it.

The only difference from this scenario and many many many others league wide is they didn't give him a couple years before cutting bait.

Someone looked up the bust rate for 3rd rounders here once and it was pretty damn high league wide. We struck gokd on a few sure , but that's rare. Hell 2nd rounders were 50 50 shots at best in the research.

I had posted a "staying power" chart but I haven't updated it in a few years. Might be a project I'll revisit.

Here's the old chart:

Basically, this shows that 24% of DB's picked in the 3rd round are successful after 3 years.

leave the extra baggage/ poltical statment attitude at the door do your job, its hard enough to focas on the task at hand than listen to what ESPN wants to make their next fkn agenda, be it redskin, foreskin or what the fck ever
