Is anyone seriously scared of the Raiders?

Yes, they got some nice shiny toys for the offense.

But Norv Turner is still their head coach and Chiefs fans know how well keeping the same players and changing the scheme works for fixing a defense.

Seriously, when someone comes into the thread and IMMEDIATELY disrespects someone else instead of debating or responding to their opinion....that's just total bush league.

Typical.

Why don't you go ahead and TELL me why Warren Sapp ISN'T going to get dominated? Because you know, I'm so STUPID, right? I'm an ignorant bastard who can't even understand why QBs yell out a bunch of shit before the snap.

OK you are usually pretty up on stats so why would you make this statement when the Chiefs allowed 377.3 yards per game and every team in the NFL allowed more than 258.4 yards per game.

Because 258 yards being the lowest is not even close to 222 yards. Correct?

OK you are looking at it backwards from the way I was. When you said approach, I assumed allow more than that number, but you meant the same as or less than. Sorry for my misunderstanding.

Vlad, believe you me, I was barely able to speak with you on this issue due to your almost complete lack of knowledge about football. And I simply do not have the time to educate you to a level where we could have a debate about anything relating to football.

“Do you think moving Warren Sapp inside is suddenly going to make him better? Since he'll be facing a pro bowl guard he's probably going to get dominated even worse.”

Suddenly? Moving Sapp inside - the position he played for many years, the position he played that got him seven pro bowl selections, the position he feels more comfortable playing – yes, it should make him more effective, i.e. "better." Whether or not he’ll “probably” be dominated by a pro bowl guard – yours or anyone else’s – remains to be seen. So far he seems to be playing with much more enthusiasm and has been actively pressuring opposing QBs, registering two sacks in six quarters of preseason play.

“I like to think one drive they had against the Texans was indicative of how their season will go. Collins drove them down the field, hitting open receivers again and again and again. Then they got into third and long and he forced a pass to Randy Moss at the goalline and it was intercepted.”

I recorded that game and watched that particular play a few times. Moss ran a slant into the post and Collins threw the ball behind Moss. There was nothing forced in his throw. He simply made a bad throw. Had Collins properly led Moss you'd have to find another single-drive example of what you'd "like to think... will be indicative of a season." Besides, isn’t it a bit silly for anyone to pretend a single series of plays is indicative of a season not yet played, especially when the person making that remark himself said, “Preseason means absolute jack shiat?”
