MY GOD! What has Hardee's done?

Using meat, such as bacon, as a burger topping is not a new idea, but Hardee's has taken the concept to its extreme today with the launch of the new Philly Cheesesteak Thickburger(TM). It's meat-on-meat as Hardee's new burger features a 1/3-lb. Angus beef Thickburger patty piled high with thinly sliced steak, two kinds of cheese and green peppers and onions. The result is a truly delicious and authentic tribute to the classic Philly Cheesesteak -- as
only Hardee's can make it.

OH MY GOD. WHY?

I have low carb thickburgers all the time. The BUN ALONE on a Hardee's thickburger is almost 500 calories.

Dear God in heaven. I think just looking at a picture of that took five years off of my life.

But you know, at least it's honest. I have more "respect" for a burger the size of North Dakota than I do for some "healthy" salad that has 500 calories and 25 grams of fat.

Don't try their breakfast burrito. It's an overrated piece of shiat. The commercial made it look good. I like a good breakfast burrito, and that wasn't what I was hoping for.

I've heard Sonic has an ultimate breakfast burrito. Eggs, sausage, peppers, cheese, tater tots, etc. I haven't had it, but I heard it's good.

Bennigan's here used to offer a fried cheese cheeseburger. It had a giant fried mozerella disk on top of the beef patty.

It was worth the negative health impact.

I've heard Branson is like Vegas — if it were run by Ned Flanders.

Only if you're just a visitor.

If you work/live there, there is definitely a "dark side" (i.e. fun side) of Branson.

I had one of those Philly Cheesesteak burgers at the local Hardee's a few weeks ago. Didn't really like it, though. The thing was very sloppy, I think, because it's on one of their regular burger buns. I'd imagine if it was on a more authentic-type steak roll, it would rock.

My rule of thumb: Bad bread=bad sandwich, regardless of the wonders inside.
