New QB debate

So, now that Plummer is no longer in Denver and Green is on his way out in KC... can we start the debates over who is better between Cutler and Huard?

I'm going to miss all of those threads with ... Plummer > Green and vice versa. We need to address this quickly as I don't want these grand QB debates to be lost.

Cutler is the best QB in the division.

The comment about Green being the best made me chuckle since you guys are running him out of town.

Time will tell with all of these guys. Rivers looks dangerous and while I wasn't sold on the drafting of Cutler at the time, I point back to why I'm typing on a message board and not calling the shots on draft day.

Um, no. I think he's the best. He's the most talented. He played as well as Rivers, if not better, as a rookie.

Damon Huard is the closest being in the entire NFL that can stand next to Rich Scanlon. Cutler is a n00b.

And yes, it has. Cutler played quite a bit last year. He's a beast.

He started 5 games last year. He was 2-3. His completion % was 59. He was sacked 11 times. Plummer despite starting 11 games was sacked 18 times. Plummer was 7-4 as a starter. Denver thru their season in the toilet when they switched QB's mid race.
Green is still the Chiefs QB until he decides to leave. The Chiefs aren't going to release him. It's his decision.

He has NO resume to back up the argument he's the best. If you wanna play whos got the most potential or who you think will do good on next years fantasy team, Fine. But sorry if the NFL folded right now and every player was ranked based on last year Rivers would be the best QB in the west. If Cutler was so god damned good why did it take shanny more then half a year to start him. I'll tell you why because although he played well he still made a lot of rookie mistakes.

Cutler threw 9 touchdown passes in only 137 attempts last year. That works out to about 30 touchdown passes in a full season. And he did this as a ROOKIE with nobodies at running back, a geriatric Rod Smith and Javon Walker. Not to mention some scrub at left tackle.

He's going to be a stud.

I'm going to say it took him that long... b/c he was a rookie and he was giving Jake enough rope to either do well or hang himself and he chose the latter.

Exactly. Rivers had one good season. Green had 4 great seasons as a Chief. He had his brain scrambled last year. He was tenative when he came back but had a good game at Cleveland despite the fact that the 32 defense reared it's head again at the end. I've a feeling if Green decides to stay he'll still beat Huard and Croyle out again.
