I'm all for Stanzi. Get him in a game, a real game, and see what he's got. A handfull of snaps with the 2's and 3's in preseason isn't an accurate test in my opinion.

Best case scenario is he lights it up and the worst is that he stinks it up. Either way we're good in the worst case scenario we will have an accurate feel for who we have and we'll suck bad enough to draft the quarterback we will want.

See if that Sanu kid from the Bengals is available, he threw a nice deep ball compared to Casshole.

I'd give Cassel two more games. If he loses them both, put in Quinn. If he sucks, put in Stanzi.

You have to evaluate what you have at the QB position when your starter is a lost cause.

We won't do that.

We'll roll with Casshole for the rest of the season.

If Pioli isn't fired, Casshole will start in 2013.

If the Chiefs are 1-5 going into the bye, there is NO WAY Kasl starts the next game.

Especially if he tosses 2 or 3 more INTs in the next 2.

It's Pioli.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Can anybody think of anyone we could pluck off the scrap heat as an alternative to the trio of turds we have at QB right now? I mean, obviously we're dealing in degrees of suck of here, but there must be one of two out there better than what we've got.

Garrard maybe? If he's even healthy.

I'd rather see them roll with what we've got, and do whatever it takes to draft a stud. But that's not going to happen when people are trying to save their jobs.

I agree. I'd prefer to audition the other two QB's just to see if either is worth keeping on the roster next year...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yeah, I thought about him. Collins, maybe? Ugh. Beyond that (and I won't even say the "F" word), I've got nothing.

At this point I don't want anyone any better. I refuse to root for them to lose, but this group of QB's gives us the best shot at Geno Smith!!!

Is Geno Smith a senior? If not, do we know that he's coming out after this year?

If Romeo is 1-5 he knows his ass is gone. At that point he might as well make a change...

I'd like to see Romeo grow a beard and starting pulling out bags of fast food during the game, munching on a double quarter pounder between defensive series. Mustard falling down his shirt.

Might as well have a snack while Cassel fails, not like your coaching is gonna do shit.
