Peyton sure did make Eric a lot of $$ last night (and over the last two years).

Solid WR? Yes.

As good as he looks? No because he's playing with Peyton Manning.

Yep.

Qbs make WRs.

Yet here in KC we always try to bring in weapons for our average QBs meanwhile never investing high into QB.

That goes both ways though, this offense wouldn't be half as potent as it is if Demaryius wasn't so versatile and trustworthy. He seems to have as much trust in him as he ever did in Reggie Wayne(obviously not Marvin)

Decker is a very solid WR. Good numbers in college, nice size and he runs routes well while making great catches. Decker is not a #1 WR though and is not 'the answer' for teams like KC that are looking for that true #1 WR threat. Decker can step up an play that role when needed, but he's not "the guy" and that's not his role.

Bowe isn't that #1 WR either - he's a better fit for a #2 role. KC needs to bring in a WR, like Nicks if that's the best option out there or draft one high, but even that could take time to pan out.

It will be interesting to see what Denver does with the guys they have coming up for new contracts... would hate to see Decker leave Denver.

I just don't see Decker as the cure for what hurts the KC passing attack... Smith has looked good in recent weeks. I'm not a Fasano fan, he's ok, but not a consistent threat. Get a real #1 WR, move Bowe to #2 and find a better starting TE.

Once Manning quits after this season all their stars will be wanting out. Decker will walk straight to Brady next year.

There's nothing that suggests he'll do it... barring a big injury setback or if they win the title. Either of those happen, esp the latter, and he walks away.

Bob, still trying to dimish the value of the QB to the very end.

He will quit no matter what. Elway would have to be crazy for fork out another 20 mil for him a third time. If he does win the the SB or not he is over. If he loses again why try a third time when he's 39?

Do you think they would be? I'm not saying it still wouldn't be a potent offense, but as far as being on pace to become the most potent ever that is in large part to the explosiveness of both Thomas'. Just like Moss was the one that put that 07' Pats O over the top, it's not diminishing Brady's role, but everyone talks about what Peyton does for that offense. He gets his props and he will get his hardware, but 88 helps that thing roll along and doesn't get his due credit.

I'd love to welcome him, and his star power, to Kansas City. There's no downside if he's willing to leave Denver.
