I guess I don't think anything that happens this year can surpass the SB loss vs SEA as an epic letdown. I'm not expecting anything grand this year, quite honestly.
Try having Squirmin Herman mother****ing sack of **** Edwards shred your team and drive it to embarrassment. Then have Scott Franchise Killer Pioli piss and shit all over its grave. The cumulative effect of that is far worse than getting crushed in a Super Bowl.

As for those saying the Donks have kharma coming, get get ****ing real. This is the real world kids. Cheaters win. Assholes get ahead. Hard work does not beat talent. Feel good stories don't come true.

This team's a joke. After 40+ years of false hope, my enthusiasm is dead. I'll continue to watch them and laugh at their ineptitude. Hopefully I'll be alive if and when they ever get their shit together

I think if the league hadn't changed so much since I first started watching KC, I might still care more. The game we have today just isn't the same, whether the Chiefs are winning or losing.

Yeah, this isn't the football that I grew up with. This is a game of catch. It's not worth getting riled up about any more.

Back in spring of '97 several of the big box electronic stores were offering up RCA satellite dishes for I think $99. You automatically received the Sunday Ticket when buying.
So, I installed the dish & we've been paying for the Ticket since we moved in back in 1997.

My wife said we were set up for this year until I went to watch game #2 & no dice.

Guess you could say I'm disappointed in that I didn't keep up during the preseason since that was the only time there was any winning football.

I lucked out in that I didn't renew ST for the 1st time this year. Instead I decided to give streaming a shot. Don't know what all's included. I know I'm getting all the college games too so that's a bonus.

Only thing I really miss is the Red Zone.

I've been streaming for years, In the early days, there were times I gave in and went to the bar because of the shit streams, but they are getting better. Now I can find a decent stream pretty quickly, it's not high def, but it get's the job done. You can stream red zone too

It's like an endless cycle of the same stuff and I know it's maddening. I'm not posting this to be an ass or as some veiled attempt to talk smack. I realize that Denver isn't doing anything special this year unless they turn things around on offense. And, I sincerely long for the days when the AFCW is a beast again - overall with all teams playing well.

You guys have had an amazingly weird season and things got really bad this week. Injuries suck and losing guys like Charles are hard to overcome. It's like the franchise takes two big steps forward in the offseason and then three steps back.

So, just saying that I'm not going to get too involved with any commentary because you guys are tearing your worlds apart with all the talk around players, coaches, next year... there's no need in trying to pee in the pool at this point.

I hope things turn around, you'd like to think that Reid has an idea as to what his plan is and how to overcome it. Maybe it's time to blow it up again, but hell, that seems crazy.

You guys are a great fan base and you deserve to sit on top for a while, I do hope that happens soon. Sucks to be at this point so early in the season. Tex and others will flame away with the mule tool rhetoric and that's fine.
Thanks, we try. Rep...

This is the kind of thread where I think we'd be better off playing the part of the good sport instead of the angry asshole. Again, with the Chiefs as the franchise backing-up our smack talk, letting other team's fans brag and boast while we head to the bar for another double, might be the smart move.

Going to games at Arrowhead are nothing like they were 10 years ago.. and even those days were a far cry from the last bit of Marty's era.

The last bit of tradition that was somewhat unique to KC was Rock and Roll Pt. 2. Replacing it with that god ****ing awful song that is now is the last bit of a reminder that it's I'm supporting the same "team" from when I was going as a little kid.

Be done with the facade. Rename the stadium, rename the team. There's no reason to cling to the past anymore.

Denver plays dirty - karma will seek them out, I promise. And it'll be a worse let-down than ours, as the timing will be at a far more critical time in the season, just when things are looking 'promising.' I've seriously never seen a team play as dirty as Denver has the last 3 seasons or thereabout. Just throwing this out there.
