Being a DE and getting 20+ sacks is crazy good. What's the next highest DE sack total for last year. Thats where the real rest would be in my opinion. DT was a god but he had a easier path to the QB.

Watt had 17.5 last year. Mack (who's listed as a DE and OLB) had 15, Ansah had 14.5, Carlos Dunlap had 13.5 and Muhammed Wilkerson had 12.

All of those players are DE's.

This era isn't lacking for stars either, mind you.

Houston, Miller, Mack, Keuchly, Willis, Bowman, Sherman, Patrick Peterson, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Revis, Norman, Aldon Smith, Chris Harris Jr, Suh, Wilkerson. All of those guys have put up at least one insanely amazing season.

And yet Watt has still taken home 3 of the 5 DPOY awards since he entered the league.

Oh, JFC. How many dominant pass rushers are there in the league today? Continual 15+ sacks per season?

Sherman, Peterson, Thomas, Chancellor, Revis and Norman for DPOY? What? None of those guys will ever sniff that award, let alone have HOF careers.
