How ironic that SI comes out this week with an article on fans. They had the top fans from all four sports in various categories.

Toughest Fans: Bucs
Loudest Fans: Chiefs
Scariest Fans: Raiders
Most Knowledgeable: Packers
Stupidest Fans: Raiders
Best Groupies: Dolphins
Most Loyal: Packers

Also, there was a quote in the article:

"Those idiots in Kansas City dont know when to shut up. They yell even when the Chiefs have the ball. Thats how stupid they are"

How about that? I thought for a second that I was reading my work on the Chiefs Planet!

I know what some of the "brighter" fans will say on here: "Sports Illustrated doesnt know what they are talking about" Unless its something positive about the Chiefs, it isnt valid.

Just remember that this is the same magazine that picked the Chiefs to finish in fourth place this year. I think they know the Chiefs and their fans as well as I do.

Fly,
Even I'm not that mean. How could I look myself in the mirror in the morning knowing that I called someone a Packfan?

re# 62 & 63 - NO!!! Anything but that!!! ANYTHING!!!

Somebody posted these questions on another thread I believe, but I never saw the answers:

1. What is a Packer? Do they Pack something?
2. If so, what do they Pack?
3. And why do they Pack it?
4. So does Green Bay have the market cornered on Packing stuff?

Dartgod - Just like he avoids logical like the plague, of course the fact that he is smart enough not to even try to match wits with logical might mean he is not as stupid as some of us thought

There are many quotes in the article. I dont know who said, it doesnt say. Dartgod, I have been to Arrowhead too, and it is loud whether the Chiefs have the ball or not. It is LOUDER when the opposing offense has the ball.

I dont think Chief fans are that bright. SI thinks the Raiders are the stupidest. All I can say is that Chief fans, IMO, arent that bright either. Just look at some of the posts on this board.

Packfan,

You are a Chief fan. You've said many times that you like the Chiefs, but hate the way the team is managed. Are you ignorant?

IMO any group of fans that eats themselves into an early grave w/ platter after platter of sausage & cheese isn't too bright.

Packfan - I don't think you want us o judge all packer fans on your posts here. I can here you complaining now as small waves hit the boat and you start yelling at the water to tell it to quiet down.

I've been to about 40-50 games at Arrowhead and never have I heard the crowd stand up and scream whild KC's offense was trying to call a play. Granted, there will be noise generated after a big play on offense, but the noise comparison between when KC's offense & defense is on the field is huge.

*Let’s expand on that logic, shall we?
I think the Chiefs fans are great (knowledgeable and loyal). SI thinks the Packers are the most knowledgeable and most loyal. IMO, the Chiefs fans are great also. (maybe not the greatest, as I and others here have admitted, but up there in the top 3 or 4)

As far as the noise thing goes, I don’t think you know what you are talking about. I have been to nearly 100 games at Arrowhead over the last 12 years (how many times have you been there?) and it is not noisy when the Chiefs are on offense. Sometimes it maybe loud when a big play has occurred, but it quiets down soon after. That quote you posted here is pure bull$hit and you know it.

*I’m not surprised you fell so easily into my trap
