New QB debate

So, now that Plummer is no longer in Denver and Green is on his way out in KC... can we start the debates over who is better between Cutler and Huard?

I'm going to miss all of those threads with ... Plummer > Green and vice versa. We need to address this quickly as I don't want these grand QB debates to be lost.

Alan, you're drinking the koolaid here. Green is DONE. Brett Favre used to be good, too.

Very good points, GoBroncos.

OR.. he could blow a knee out and never be able to live up to whatever potential he has. Right now it's all speculation.
But calling him the best in the division right now is what I'm arguing about.

It's pretty weird when you think about the level of "starting experience" that the AFCW QBs have at this point... all 4 teams (depending on what OAK decides to do) are so young at the position now.

Enh, that's still debatable. How good would Young have been without Henry making them respect the run game? I think Young has huge potential, but that offense has take a few huge hits this offseason. Leinart - I like the offense, but he was no better than Cutler in 2006.

Young won the ROY award, sure... so he's the darling of the class right now, but let's see what the TN offense does to replace the losses of guys like Henry and Bennett.

Shanahan is putting a nice arsenal around Cutler right now.

He may decide to leave KC. But I sure as hell wouldn't be suprised if he's teamed up with a Coryell offense in Miami under Cameron and if he stays healthy he ends up going to the Pro Bowl again.
I guess we'll find out if he decides to go there.

OK. What has Green done lately to distinguish himself?

You can drink all the Cutler kool aid you want. I'd take Young 10 times out of 10 over Cutler. I'll give you that Shanny is building a nice arsenal around Cutler but he seems to be falling into the KC trap of all defense or all offense. You guys will probably have a good offense next year but your D is gonna keep going down hill.

You sure make a lot of excuses about other QB's and the players they have around them...while singing the Singl handed cutler praise. Rivers has LT and Young had Henry, are you under the impression Cutler can do it all by himself? Are you not counting on Henry helping Cutler this year?

I do hope Croyle starts this year and that The raiders get Russell it make for alot of storys and some intresting years ahead. Of course that being said I'm not that big a fan of Croyle, I'd love to see Brohm come here in 08.

I can't believe people even compare Young to Cutler. Vince Young is just a streetball QB. The dude started 13 games and only threw 12 touchdowns.
