I've also attempted to ask the value question, and I asked him if he refuses to answer tough questions what the point of this exercise was.

Scott Wright: If the Chiefs select Eugene Monroe he will be the left tackle and Branden Albert will either move to right tackle or kick inside to guard like he did in college.

Anybody else amused at the fact that Daniel's backup is considered more than Daniel himself?

For you, Mecca:

[Comment From Andrew from Springfield]
Brandon Albert has played very well as a rookie LT for a dismal Chiefs team last year. Drafting Monroe would essentially move Albert over, and would be the equivolent of spending the #3 overall on a non-LT OL position. Do you honestly think Pioli would use such a huge pick on such a nominal improvement?

He basically sidestepped the question with his answer.

Scott Wright: I don't see it that way. You would be paying #3 overall money to a left tackle (Monroe) and then Albert would be a right tackle or Pro Bowl caliber guard and based on the money he got as a mid-first round pick last year that would be a great value.

YOU CAN'T KEEP THE PLANET DOWN, BABY.

[Comment From Mecca]
Why do teams appear to be enamored with Brandon Pettigrew? He doesn't appear to have the speed to stretch the seem or be a real threat in the receiving game. Yes he can block but is Daniel Graham version 2 really worth a 1st round pick?

Scott Wright: Brandon Pettigrew doesn't fit the mold of what we think of as a first round tight end these days but just because he isn't a Kellen Winslow or Vernon Davis doesn't mean he's not a very good player. He's just different and in many teams eyes that's a good thing. Pettigrew makes up for what he lacks in speed by being a phenomenal blocker and I can't overstate how impressed with him I was at the Senior Bowl. Brandon has a lot of fans in the scouting community and he wouldn't be as much of a reach in the Top 15 as most think.

We are killing this bitch.

Will Pat White be a QB or WR in the league?
