F the yankee's (both the baseball team, and the people). This is bad karma for them for helping ruin baseball. The average fan also made this team what is, and like many other clubs they have gone the wine and cheese rout. The K still remains the best deal out of the 5 major league parks I have been to.

I hate the yankees and I pretty much hate baseball, but I sadly have to admit that their stadium is ****ing sweet... granted they have the history to fill it with, but it is ****ing awesome to look at. Of course it could do without the Barry-Bond-on-roids like wind that blows through there.
Is there an engineer in here that can give us a quick fix? Couldnt they just put up a giant wall behind the center filed opening or something? A giant sail or something to keep wind from escaping as easily... hell, cant trump just donate his toupee's to stitch together and hang back there, nothing wants to go near those things...

A Rod just drilled another Homer out.
7 out of 10 hits have been Homers. |

That's a flyball out in just about every other stadium in the league.

The Yankees play there. That already makes it a disaster.
I love looking at all those empty seats behind home plate.... |

"In becoming the first Major League player to break the color barrier, Jackie will forever be an inspiration with his grace, dignity and perseverance. His story and the stories of those who never had the same opportunity must never be forgotten." -- New York Yankees Jackie Robinson, plaque dedicated April 17, 2007. In honor of Robinson's unique place as the first African-American player of the modern era, his number 42 was retired throughout baseball on April 15, 1997, the 50th anniversary of his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Players active at the time of the number's retirement in 1997 were granted a special exemption (grandfather clause) permitting them to continue wearing the number for the remainder of their careers; the last such player still active is Yankee relief pitcher Mariano Rivera. The number will be ceremonially retired by the Yankees after Rivera retires. ![]() The hallways are lined with classic and current photos.
