Prior to the game I bet a Bronco fan $20 at the bar last night that KC would have a better record this season than his donks,I still feel good about it.

True to a point, BUT when you get dominated in preseason - and not just scoring wise, there are issues that transend to the regular season. Anyone not the least bit concerned by the Chiefs showing thus far is kidding themselves.

They went undefeated in the preseason and got a franchise QB from the regular season. Seems like 2 positives to me.

I don't think we'll be in a position to get a top QB but you need 2 hands to count the QBs who have 1st round talent going into the season and they all aren't going to be drafted by the time the Chiefs are on the clock for the 1st and, maybe, 2nd time.
See - that's the frustraiting part. Teams that hit rock bottom the way the Chiefs did during Herm's last years and Haley's 1st - usually get themselves a young franchise QB to build around. The Chiefs didn't and now they're going backwards.

And Trent Dilfer has a Super Bowl ring...

Now go back and look at the Chiefs past preseasons (not just records) and see if you can identify a big problem / problems in the preseason that did not transed into the regular season. Bet you'll find more that did rather than didn't. Preseason records certainly don't matter, but how the team and individual players play, in certain situations, certainly does.

JFC you are a dumbshit.

You act as if the Chiefs have been able to start slow and still produce a successful season.

20 years without a playoff win?

That disproves your "start slow but finish strong theory".
