Cleaning Caulk off of tub
(No Gochiefs ... i said cleaning Caulk, not cleaning Cock)


Hey experts!!!

so the tub is in pretty good condition except for the fact that it looks like they just applied caulking over the old instead of cleaning it off completely.

any tricks to getting caulking residue off WITHOUT scratching the porcelain?


yes, i'd be willing to even try antifreeze if someone really thought that would do any good.

they make liquid caulk removers. And special shaped plastic tools for removing caulk.

I usually cut as much of the old caulk out as I can with a utility knife and then clean it up with a razor scraper.

I think they make a product called Caulk-off or Caulk-be-gone.

Maybe it's called "Anti-Caulk" or "Caulk-Away."

You can find it at most K.D. Lang or Melissa Etheridge concerts.
