Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

Well I think what I'm doing is okay. I've gained 30ish lbs since I started and I don't look fatter, so...

Also DL 195 3x5 today almost body weight.

No doubt you have. Your on the right track, just keep plugging away.

On average, you can gain around 2lbs of muscle per month. If your doing things right, a little fat with that too, but the indicator is the scale going up AND weights/lifting going up. 30lbs in what, 3 months? THat is a bit excessive but I know you were low carb before so a lot of that could be glycogen compensation.

I'm certain that I've definitely gained fat and muscle, but the majority of my weight gain is just water weight.

Here's what I ended up getting. Decent price I guess. I used my credit card so it's like I used fake money to buy it.
