Late night bullshit: Bring on the ****ing Broncos.

Bring them on.

I feared them (at least so much as you can fear a football team) at the start of the season.

But now? Please.

Julian Thomas cannot break open a game if Berry is blanketing him.

Sean Smith is playing out of his mind, let him take Decker out of the game. Let's put Flowers on Demaryius Thomas (he should be back to form by then).

And **** it, let's see this Marcus Cooper kid do his damnedest on Welker. He's got the wheels for it, but Abdullah and Demps could clearly step up to the plate if that doesn't work out.

Make those windows as small as possible, send Hali/Houston/Poe, and may the best man win.

Gonna be a hell of a game after the bye, people.

If he plays that way going forward maybe there is scope to put up more if necessary.

If they're down 17-7 to the Broncos at half-time after they got, say, a special teams TD or a real short field? KC would be right in that game because the D is bossing it. Down 27-14 with no ST/garbage TDs? Yeah... that's probably game over, because even if the offense puts up a couple more teeds, the defense isn't gonna have enough juice to stop Manning.
this is true. I commented yesterday to my buddy that they get the job (so far) when I counts. So this is definitely a good thing.

The Donks have played exactly jack and shit thus far, so you guys have absolutely ZERO room to talk schedule smack.
I'm intrigued by your method of adding a few numbers together. You've had two attempts, and have gotten it wrong twice. I'm also interested to know how getting the Cowboy's record wrong gave you a bad result relative to the two teams. They are on both Denver's and KC's schedule, so if you thought they were 1-3, you would have also taken one win away from KC's opponents. Yet, you did not.

Denver's opponents so far:

BAL (2 wins)
NYG (0 wins)
OAK (1 win)
PHI (1 win)
DAL (2 wins)

KC's opponents so far:

JAC (0 wins)
DAL (2 wins)
PHI (1 win)
NYG (0 wins)
TEN (3 wins)

Huh. When I add those numbers together, I get 6 wins for both schedules.

the offensive numbers are really crazy at this point:

Quote:
On Manningís final four touchdown drives of the day against Philadelphia, Denver never ran a third-down play.

Denver had 12 second downs on the four drives. Manning converted all of them into first downs.

Eleven plays, 80 yards. Ten plays, 80 yards. Eight plays, 80 yards. Seven plays, 65 yards.

Thatís 36 plays, 28 points, 305 yards. And no third downs.
