Do you or did you ever change your mind?

Have you ever changed your mind about politics due to something on the internet, broadcasting or newspaper? I personally don't hold many strong beliefs. Sometimes I rather admire posters like Mad Crappper, Chiefsshrink or Frazod. I find there absolute belief in their ideals touching but scary. Anyway, have you ever changed your mind on something after reading a post here or taking part in a discussion here. And if not whats the point of D.C.

I typically only change my mind when I experience or discover something first hand.

Got tired of personal responsibility, individual liberty, a pro growth economy and a strong national defense, huh? What kind of personal experience leads to that?

At one time I didn't think I'd ever vote for John McCain, but the democrats' disgraceful conduct related to the Iraq War and the nomination of Barack Obama changed my mind.

I don't consider the Democrats treatment of Iraq to be bad or wrong but right. Only problem I have with it, is that they're no different, most of them, if their president did it. Libya comes to mind. It was just a way to exploit the sentiments of the American people's upset over how it came about to gain power. Demopublicans!
