When I spoke to Robbie, he said he and Tina have been paying a little over $800 a month for their plan, about $10,000 a year. And the ACA-compliant policy will cost 50-75 percent more? They said this information was related to them by their insurance agent.

Had they shopped on the exchange yet, I asked? No, Tina said, nor would they. They oppose Obamacare and want nothing to do with it. Fair enough, but they should know that I found a plan for them for, at most, $3,700 a year, a 63 percent less than their current bill. It might cover things that they don’t need, but so does every insurance policy.
From the comments:

That's just sad. Hannity runs a big-time show with well-paid producers, but they apparently couldn't find even a single true example of someone who got screwed by Obamacare. How hard can that be? Even liberals acknowledge that some people will end up worse off. But Hannity's staff couldn't be bothered. I guess he figures his audience doesn't really deserve any better.
I seriously wonder how most of the right-wingers on this forum don't get tired of being flat out lied to by conservative media propaganda on a constant ongoing basis. Do you realize it and just don't care because you think the cause is worthy in the long run? Or is your amygdyla so fired up by rage and fear you really can't see it?

And no, CNN or the NY Times is not the same thing. Not even close.

How can you dispute those facts?

I don't believe you really believe that. Maybe I'm giving you too much credit though.

That's called Medicaid. It already exists. And if you're really lucky you can work at Wal-mart and still get Medicaid. They even have a gigantic department set up to help you navigate the system: http://www.goodjobsfirst.org/corpora...taxpayer-costs

The "fact" I'm disputing is that "Romney agreed with Obamacare". That's simply false. You certainly can't take everything a politician says as gospel, but that doesn't mean you can just make things up about what you think they really believe and call it a fact.

It's almost exactly like the Iraq War issue in 2004, where the public was divided on the issue 49-47 for, and Kerry was an imperfect candidate for the anti-war voters based on his Yes vote.

65% of voters believed Bush had no plan to get us out of Iraq and 59% of them said the same of Kerry.

But he did agree with it based on nothing more than his plan in Massachussetts was extremely similar to Obamacare. All he had left to argue was the difference between a state plan and a Federal plan. He was the worst possible opponent to Obamacare imaginable. I'm shocked you think otherwise.

I'm shocked that you keep trying to say he agreed with it when he explicitly opposed it. I'm also shocked that you keep trying to change the subject and pretend I'm saying something other than what I'm saying. Actually, I'm not shocked by that second thing because it's your "go to" argument technique.
