Oops: MSNBC Anchor Canít Access Obamacare Exchange

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner...andrew-johnson

MSNBCís Mara Schiavocampo ran into difficulties as she tried to sign up for the newly launched health-care exchanges on Tuesday. After getting an error message on the website, she called the help line twice, but wasnít able to reach a navigator on the other end. Instead, she was put on hold for 35 minutes.

ďIf I were signing up for myself, this is where my patience would be exhausted,Ē Schiavocampo said before she gave up.

The exchanges, which went online Tuesday morning, have been riddled with technical difficulties in states across the country. The administration has said that the glitches consumers are encountering will be ironed out by Tuesday afternoon.

Maybe this question has already been asked, or we should make an official thread but has anyone on here signed up for Obamacare yet?

HHS didnít want users to see Obamacareís true costs

Obamacare's Website Is Crashing Because It Doesn't Want You To Know How Costly Its Plans Are.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapoth...rtner=yahootix

Quote:
A growing consensus of IT experts, outside and inside the government, have figured out a principal reason why the website for Obamacareís federally-sponsored insurance exchange is crashing. Healthcare.gov forces you to create an account and enter detailed personal information before you can start shopping. This, in turn, creates a massive traffic bottleneck, as the government verifies your information and decides whether or not youíre eligible for subsidies. HHS bureaucrats knew this would make the website run more slowly. But they were more afraid that letting people see the underlying cost of Obamacareís insurance plans would scare people away.

Right now this entire piece of legislation if a flat out ****ing joke. There is absolutely no excuse for Obama and the Dems to not delay the individual mandate.

I have been reading a lot of articles that are saying it could take quite a while for them to get things fixed. This is where timing was poor for the GOP faction to make a stand. They should have used the debacle of the websites to make their case.

And the left is thrilled with the distraction. People are pissed at the GOP and not even noticing this ****up~

18 days in and still broken.

Today is my favorite error so far. Apparently I'm no longer a citizen!

"Can't verify status of immigration document submitted." Not sure what doc they are referring to since I was born in St Joseph.... wait, did St Joe recently secede from the US and I missed it?

It's not going to get fixed anytime soon. We better monitor the books like a hawk to make sure we're not paying expensive consultants, which we're already doing.

And that's just to get the technology working. We're not even factoring in the cost of increased customer service, tech support, and the massive cost needed to educate on how to use, not to mention the big marketing push to win back those who tried the tool and were frustrated with it.

And that's not even including the massive cost if something goes really wrong, and judging by this shit show, that's probably possible. Either they have to pay insurance to protect themselves, or they'll have a massive payout. For example... if they get sued because health information wasn't protected, what will that cost?

I've managed many of these projects before. This is what you call a ready-fire-aim project. This is why government shouldn't be running massive projects like this. A private sector business would have a project management plan that was scrutinized to the very last detail.

The problem is moreso that the GOP isn't noticing their own **** up, and aren't pissed enough at themselves for it.

The GOP should have been laser focused on hammering Obamacare. Instead, they hammered away at everything and you know what? No non-Republican is going to look back at this government shutdown and claim the Republicans held out because of Obamacare. They're going to say they held out because they hate Obama. It's frustrating that the GOP can't see what an enormous opportunity they whiffed on to put clown shoes on Obama.

What's going to happen when a lot of people just say "**** you"?

Are they going to put liens on their houses? Force withdrawl from their bank accounts? Take their firstborn?
