**The Obamacare Shitfest thread**

At the rate this thing is falling apart I figures it's time for a game-style thread for this abortion of a law.

This is what we get from lawmakers who don't even read the law...

1. Web site crashes...no one tested it
2. Insurance policies being canceled even after Obama stated multiple times you can keep your insurance if you like it
3. Valerie Jarrett says blame the insurance companies
4. Insurance companies say "we are just following the law"
5. HHS neutered the "Grandfather" clause with multiple regulations
6. Jay Carney tells us what the President "really meant" and that we were all just too stupid to "get it"
7. IRS knew as soon as 2010 that over 50% of individual insurance policy holders would lose coverage
8. Men are being forced to carry "maternity coverage"
9. Women who cannot get pregnant are being forced to carry "maternity coverage"
10. We keep getting told this is "affordable" yet deductible seem to be going up as well as premiums on balance
11. The Fed Gov won't tell us how many people have actually signed up
13. Obama knew nothing about any of it

She was complaining that she couldn't afford the new plans but how the **** could she afford her medical bills if she went to the hospital?
I was about to buy a "catastrophic" plan that was HSA eligible that would have cost me $135 a month. It had a $6,000 deductible and covered preventive care and $0 after deductible.

That same plan is now $250 a month.

I figure even with a baby on the way, the Wife and I can quit our jobs, collect unemployment, food stamps and ACA subsidies and not loose any quality of life by any significant measure when you get down to it.

Sounds like a plan. One thing is for sure...the poor and unemployed have it made. A sweet, sweet life.

I know the those EBT people driving their Escolades to the grocery store aren't hurting. Yeah, that's right. I said Escolades. Don't want to leave out the people in the Jags either.

The best part about all this is the division it's driving in the democrats as they abandon their plan and put up their hands and say "don't look at me, I wanted single payer." Meanwhile, they point at Ted Cruz for actually standing his ground and fighting for something - or more aptly, fighting against something... the very thing that the Democrats are abandoning themselves. The cognitive dissonance is instructive. Fight for what you believe in, because when you fight for what you don't believe in and it fails, you end up looking muddled and confused.

The system is down at the moment.

We are experiencing technical difficulties and hope to have them resolved soon. Please try again later.

This shows why too many agencies under the Exec branch is not a good thing. Because then we get law by bureaucrats instead of by reps. Even if Congress passed a bill and authorized the agency. It still leads to this kind of abuse.

Health insurance brokers are having the best month theyve ever had. It's free advertising. I have a buddy that sells health insurance. He tells me they get hundreds of calls a day asking about Obamacare. He makes an appointment with them, shows them how much more it is then a traditional high deductible plan, and then sells them one of their non exchange plans. He's raking it in. If people have a pre existing condition and can't get one of his traditional policies, he gives them the Obama quote, and of course, they can't afford it, so they will just end up paying the fine and going uninsured like they always have. It's a joke people. My wife is considering getting her health insurance licence to cash in on this big pile of shit.

It's becoming more attractive everyday to even productive people. This is where socialism/fascism leads. Eventually, the incentives to produce disappear and it collapses on itself. But the left clings, clings to false solutions and ideas.

I had a $1200 premium increase just recently for next year. This is on top of the $700 increase from last year for a whopping $1900 increase, higher premium and less benefits.
