Full of zingers this morning aren't we?
We're in a Sandbox thread so apparently I don't convey my message very well. Not the 1st or last time I've heard that.

Another thing that I wish we could change is substitution packages. Like I don't have room for Zach Brown right now because he isn't very good against the run, but against the pass and pass rush he was decent. I wish I could have subbed him in only on obvious passing downs. I know this is coming at some point so im good with how it is now.

Vancouver (KCfubar) has turned their attention to their ailing LB corp. Problem is we picked up an ailing LB. That's OK. We'll extend & build around him.
We sent Carlos Rogers, Robert Ayers & our 5th round pick for Jerod Mayo & Oak City's 2nd round pick. With this new email announcement that we are on the clock for the next 24 hours' when our pick comes up changes everything for me. I won't miss the 1st few rounds this year & draft all one area like I did. Yeah, I picked up a 4-3 'backer. I'm just hoping his elite status covers any penalty per my understanding of RainMan's explanation. So I'm now in SNR's situation having a IR stud, don't really want 2. I did a little research on Anthony Spencer & D. Ware last year. Spence had the better year & was younger so I gave him the contract & traded Ware. Now, in the offseason Dallas switches to a 4-3. Last season Spencer was rated #1 for the entire year. 3 years left on his contract. I'd love to be able to move him. If I'm able to, I'd like all 3-4 linebacker positions in return please.

Holy hell, Donte Whitner is a hot ****ing commodity
I really wish I had paid more attention at the start of free agency. Walter Thurmond for $14 was a steal; wish I could have nabbed him but props to whoever did. |

oddly enough im doing the opposite, rather than loading my team up with star players to play out of scheme im actually looking for scheme specific players so those shitty nfl journeymen people like to play star players out of position over
im putting scheme first, players second. will this work? didnt work for Pioli probably wont work for me |

I inherited a defense with maybe one legitimate starter in Stephon Gilmore so I pretty much had a clean slate to start.
I decided to take Ziggy Ansah over Star Lotululei or Barkevious Mingo with my first pick so it kind of forced my hand into running the 4-3. From there I took Alec Ogletree with my second pick and ever since then I've been trying to find guys that will fit the 4-3. If I could go back in time I'd probably take Star and run the 3-4 but no biggie. I knew I'd be in for a bit of a rebuild so this first season I'm just going to test the waters. |

St Louis trades Zach Brown and a 3rd round pick for Jimmy Graham and a 5th round pick.
This gives me Martellus Bennett and Jimmy Graham as a dual tight end set. |

Well shit. I thought about asking for Graham instead of the draft pick but didn't think he'd let him go. Hey dingle. I couldn't figure out who the heck you were. I see you've been abusing the moderators. |

Not so much, I made a mistaken thread. Phobia changed my name to this, so I went off for a couple hours. Idk if he will ever change it back.

I'd have given Cooper plus all of King Midas' silver for Graham.

Lol, I'm gonna take the heat for this deal that I made. I'm making a bit of a risk here with the deal, but I gotta do something about next year now or I'm going to go full Raiders.
I've got a plan, though. It's probably a n00b plan that won't work, but it's a plan. |
