Real talk: Can the Texans or the Faid come up big

and upset the Donx and can the Chiefs win out against Indy and Sandy Eggo?

I could see the Texans jumping up and biting the Donx as kinda of a spoiler. I don't think the Raiders can but wouldn't it be sweet to see the Donx drop the final two of the season?

I'm actually fairly optimistic about the Texans chances with Shaub starting. Better than with Keenum, anyway. Shaub isn't as bad as it seemed earlier in the year because of the pick 6s. He has been a guy that has thrown for over 4,000 yards 3 times in his career and is capable of having a big game against a soft defense.

He just needs to be safe with the ball. If he starts throwing picks like crazy again, they don't have a shot.

Denver's defense isn't anything to worry about and maybe Shaub has a big day while Manning turns the ball over just enough to give the game away.

Wouldn't that be something.

If the football gods really want to make up for decades of misery Chiefs fans have endured, there will be an upset in Houston on Sunday

Even with injuries, I think the Texans beating the Broncos is less unlikely than this Texans team losing 13 straight football games.

It is unlikely, but you never know, Trindan Holiday can fumble a kick or two and with a couple of turnovers or injuries, Texans can beat them.

There is no mention on the sports channels of what has to happen for the Chiefs to win the division and get the #1 seed. Yeah it's a long shot but you'd think they would cover all the scenarios. Guess they've .already got their brackets filled out.

I think there's more talent on the Texans than the Raiders.

I don't see Oakland having any answers on offense or defense...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Denver's facing Schaub and McGloin.
We're facing Luck and Rivers.

Denver's facing Wade Phillips and Dennis Allen.
We're facing Pagano and McCoy.

The Texans and Raiders have a combined record of 6-22 and a combined point differential of -210, with a combined 16 game losing streak.

The Colts and Chargers have a combined record of 16-12 and a combined point differential of +51 with a combined 3 game winning streak.

So yeah, probably not.

They do. One of the ESPN segments was "Buy or Sell" on sportscenter this morning. The anchor stated that the Chiefs were "locked into the 5 seed" for the playoffs, and the question was whether the Chiefs could make it to the Superbowl (everyone said sell.)

Yeah I would say the Texans have a better chance. Unless you want to say that Pryor plays and has the stars line up for him for a day. Either way it's really not worth too much thought because it isn't going to happen. Especially since they just lost to SD. Lack of focus would be the only chance and that isn't going to happen now.
