The 15 Beliefs of the Tea Party

I keep hearing people on both sides bash the Tea Party and I have to admit I have never actually looked into exactly what the stance of the Tea Party is, so this is what I found. Amazingly it seems that a lot of people on both sides tend to agree with most of these beliefs. It's obvious why status quo politicians are afraid of the Tea Party but I have to question why we hear some on the voter end bashing them. I have listed the beliefs below and put a D, R or B (both) for where I think beliefs fall from an "isle" aspect:

1. Illegal aliens are here illegally. R
2. Pro-domestic employment is indispensable. D
3. A strong military is essential. R
4. Special interests must be eliminated. B
5. Gun ownership is sacred. R
6. Government must be downsized. B
7. The national budget must be balanced. B
8. Deficit spending must end. B
9. Bailout and stimulus plans are illegal. D
10. Reducing personal income taxes is a must. B
11. Reducing business income taxes is mandatory. R
12. Political offices must be available to average citizens. B
13. Intrusive government must be stopped. B
14. English as our core language is required. R
15. Traditional family values are encouraged. R

Both sides ? There isn't any both sides whatsoever, it's coming from one side with RINOs(Marxist Lite) to the Dem party(Pure Marxist) ganging up on the Tea Party together(politically in bed together once again-should we be surprised?). I mean really is there any difference between them other than RINOs who at least give lip service to the Constitution whereas the Dems who totally ignore the Constitution until it serves their Progressive agenda ?

The fiscal faction of the party is continually having to run primary fights against more and more extreme right candidates.

Many of the extreme wingers seem to be trying to out extreme each other.

Well, I'm just speaking from strict constructuralist point of view. The government is the only entity that can coerce your opinion through legal penalty. That is what the 1st amendment is worded to protect. The government cannot force you to adopt a religious opinion or practice or preference. It can however, enact general welfare laws independent of you personal religious opinion. This is not a violation of the Constitution. Your ability to hold your opinion has not been violated. You are not penalized because you disagree. Disagreement with the law, however, is not supported legally by a difference of religious opinion.

I can't argue that. I've since lost faith in the Repubs because, as you say, they are nothing more than Democrats in Repub's clothing.

I am not saying I agree with the Tea Party but I welcome the change and to see the establishment on both sides of the isle in such fear of them I have to think the fear is not for the welfare of the country but the welfare of their own power. After all, if these people who are currently in power were truly worried about the welfare of the country we wouldn't have a Tea Party to begin with.

As opposed to extreme left wingers like the one in the White House? Or what about Babs Boxer? Or Bernie Sanders the Socialist? This is why the Right needs more what you would call "extremists". The Left is filled with them and it gets worse all the time as they get culled into the machine.

the Left gives us Bernie Sanders, the right gives us Ted Cruz
the Left gives us Babs Boxer, the right gives us Rand Paul

These are offsets I can live with. What I am tired of is the Reid, Boehner, Pelosi, McConnell crap that is symbolic of nothing more than power mad ****tards that don't give a **** about anyone but them.

Got no love for politicians
Or that crazy scene in D.C.
It's just a power mad town
But the time is ripe for changes
There's a growing feeling
That taking a chance on a new kind of vision is due

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

I'm tired of all this bullshit
They keep selling me on T.V.
About the communist plan
And all the shady preachers
Begging for my cash
Swiss bank accounts while giving their
Secretaries the slam

They're all in Penthouse now
Or Playboy magazine, million dollar stories to tell
I guess Warhol wasn't wrong
Fame fifteen minutes long
Everyone's using everybody, making the sale

I used to think
That only America's way, way was right
But now the holy dollar rules everybody's lives
Gotta make a million doesn't matter who dies

Cosmo won't accept anything less than hero status when it comes to Obama.

Your rights come from the natural state of humanity. Mythical sky deity of your choice has nothing to do with it at all.

Well this is why I think it is important that the term "Creator" is used. Call it God or what have you but it's sole purpose in my mind is to intimate exactly what you said, that our rights are not given us by man but by something above and beyond man.
