LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling making comments on black people

http://www.tmz.com/2014/04/26/donald...magic-johnson/

Quote:
L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling told his GF he does NOT want her bringing black people to his games ... including Magic Johnson ... and it's ALL on tape.

TMZ Sports has obtained audio of Sterling making the racist declaration during a heated argument on April 9th with V. Stiviano ... after she posted a photo on Instagram posing with Magic.

Sterling rails on Stiviano -- who ironically is black and Mexican -- for putting herself out in public with a black person (she has since taken the pic down). But it doesn't end there. You have to listen to the audio to fully grasp the magnitude of Sterling's racist worldview. Among the comments:

-- "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?" (3:30)

-- "You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games." (5:15)

-- "I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people." (7:45)

-- "...Don't put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games." (9:13)

Sterling has a documented history of allegedly racist behavior -- he's been sued twice by the federal government for allegedly refusing to rent apartments to Blacks and Latinos.

He was also sued by former Clippers exec Elgin Baylor for racial discrimination -- though a jury was ultimately not convinced and shot down Baylor's case.
What does ChiefsPlanet think? Is this racist or is he just getting railroaded by the Liberal Media?

Report: Donald Sterling seeking counsel for upcoming lawsuit against NBA

Less than a week since Adam Silver handed Donald Sterling a lifetime ban and the NBA’s owners began the process of ousting the Los Angeles Clippers owner, reports are beginning to circulate that Sterling won’t go quietly into the night.

In a report from TMZ Sports, Sterling is apparently exploring his options for representation before filing a lawsuit against the league:
Donald Sterling is on the hunt to hire a major L.A. law firm to sue the NBA for suspending him and attempting to strip him of ownership of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Sterling’s people were in touch with several law firms last week, including the powerhouse firm Glaser Weil. Patty Glaser is one of the top litigators in the country and has repped scores of celebs, including Conan O’Brien and Keith Olbermann.
Since Silver announced Sterling’s ban, it has been widely believed that Sterling would stick to his reputation as an aggressive litigator and fight the league’s decision. The 81-year-old is reportedly set on going to court despite a mountain of detractors and his deteriorating health. It was reported last week that the disgraced owner is currently battling cancer.

Well, if anything, it does show the libertarian maxim that the market works since he was known as a racist by the players and they still were willing to sign a contract and work for him--even become rich and he was still willing to pay them making him rich.

Well so much for him going quietly, like it seemed last week. Sterling wrote a 32 page response to the NBA today vowing to fight.

There's really no reason for him to feel like he should go quietly. What else can he lose? They already banned him.

Plus, he's what 84? And he has cancer. He really does have nothing to lose. So why not go out this way.

What's funny is that all this political correctness and outrage and such is going to end up putting a check for $1,000,000,000 in his racist pocket.

You really think people's objection to and the NBA's reaction to what he said is simply "political correctness?" Is there no line that can be crossed with offensive speech where a negative reaction isn't merely dismissed as petty political correctness?
