Eric Cantor is in trouble

This could be a little early, but the House Majority Leader appears to be going down.

He was expected to easily turn aside a tea party challenger, but Eric Cantor is now losing by a whopping 11 points in his primary with about 51% of precincts reporting.

I am not a drug user. I am just able to see second order consequences. The Drug War has done much more harm than good. It is one of the worst government policies we have on a personal rights front (it has pretty much shredded the 4th, turned your bank into a spy against you), from a monetary standpoint (over 1 billion spent since it began and addiction rates haven't budged plus drugs are cheaper than ever before, civil asset forfeiture), from a human cost standpoint (gang wars, no knock raids, deaths from badly cut drugs and unknown purity), and from a community standpoint (militarized police, lack of trust in cops, cops not having to worry about locals as funding comes from federal grants and seizures). Reagan is responsible for most of that since he put it into overdrive.

Pray to baby jesus for all those deadbeat gamblers that don't honor their bets and lie instead. Amen.

And lying is even one of those 10 things you're not supposed to do.

Finally a conservative news source that says...

...what I've been saying.
In fact, however, the tea party had nothing to do with Brat’s victory. Only the small, local tea party groups stand for anything anymore, but they’re as different from the media-recognized “tea party” as lay Catholics are from the Catholic bishops.

National tea party groups did not contribute dime one to Brat. Not Freedom Works, not Club for Growth[<-- they're not TP at all either] not the Tea Party Express, not Tea Party Patriots. They were too busy denouncing Sen. Mitch McConnell — who has consistently voted against amnesty. [Really?]

As I have been warning you, the big, national tea party groups are mostly shysters and con-men raising money for their own self-aggrandizement. (Today, they’re blast-faxing “media availability” notices to television networks claiming credit for Brat’s victory.)

The Tea Party Express, for example, “represents” the views of ordinary Americans by supporting Chamber of Commerce demands for cheap labor through amnesty.
As Eric Hoffer said, “Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.”

Nonetheless, the claim that Brat’s victory was a win for the Tea Party is everywhere — pushed with suspicious insistence by people who do not usually wish the Republican Party well. Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schulz, for example, said: “Tonight’s result in Virginia settles the debate once and for all — the tea party has taken control of the Republican Party. Period.”

Liberals apparently want Brat’s victory to be seen as a win for the tea party, and not a defeat for amnesty.

The media engages in disinformation. They are all over the place with the amnesty shills saying Cantor's defeat has nothing to do with amnesty. In the meantime, Israel's immigration policy is instant, unapologetic, unsentimental deportation of illegal aliens " and progressives like Schumer of NY supports it.

Republican incumbents such as McConnell and John Cornyn both voted against amnesty and won. So Graham's win in SC is hardly a sign of anything particularly when he never mentioned amnesty in his campaign, had no real challengers, had an $8 million war chest. He's saving it as a surprise later.

I love diggin' up more stuff about Cantor--how he has operated.

Look at this news about Cantor and his Establishment buddies, or shall I say gang, from Inside-the-Beltway.
Once Snubbed, David Brat Turns the Tables

But the back-room deal makers of his Republican Party snubbed him for someone chosen by allies of Representative Eric Cantor, the majority leader.

“All of us got bullied to get out in favor of the one guy who had a connection to most of the Republican office holders in Virginia,” said Steven Thomas, who also sought the nomination.
