Obama lectures Putin on "Border Security"

Putin has the power to control his own border:

Quote:
If Mr. Putin makes a decision that we are not going to allow heavy armaments and the flow of fighters into Ukraine across the Ukrainian-Russian border, then it will stop. And if it stops, then the separatists will still have the capacity to enter into negotiations and try to arrive at the sort of political accommodations that Mr. Putin himself says he wants to see. He has the most control over that situation, and so far, at least, he has not exercised it.

However, Obama is powerless to control his:

Quote:
"The easy way out is to try to yell and pretend like I can do something by violating our laws," Obama told Hong Monday. "And what I'm proposing is the harder path, which is to use our democratic processes to achieve the same goal that you want to achieve. But it won't be as easy as just shouting. It requires us lobbying."

I'm sure that can be arranged.

Is this just a spontaneous thought you just had to share, or is this something you dreamed, or is it in an article somewhere?

It's message board tradition to include some type of source or link or article cut & paste or...something. Or are we to figure that you just got off the phone with him and this is what he told you?

He didn't say long he would be willing to go to prison.

Well, at least PB didn't bless us with that piece of information. Perhaps next time they speak, PB will ask and report back to us.

Yes, just like Aldrich Ames, Robert Hanssen, Jonathan Pollard, Bradley/Chelsea Manning, and all those others who gave out confidential info and turned up dead...

He really doesn't have any kind of life in Russia, even Putin said as much. There's no appeal staying there forever and Snowden is quite young still.
