I might go for it if he would wear a mullet wig and a pair of those glasses with the big nose.

I'm a Bronco fan living in Kansas City. I cheer for the Chiefs but only when they aren't playing the Broncos. If Shanahan came to Kansas City, I would be an instant Chiefs first fan. Sounds like I'm jumping ship? Perhaps. I love my Broncos but firing Shanahan was kind of a slap in the face and quite possibly a wake up call. I always expected things to turn around in Denver but I didnt expect this and it pissed me off.

I liked the Chiefs under Marty, even though I didnt live here then. I liked the Chiefs under Vermeil. When Herm took over, that ended that. I knew he would put the anti-midas touch on the Chiefs, as he has everywhere else.

Shanahan comes here. Im an instant supporter again. Might even be able to actually go to a game without fear of being killed for cheering on the Broncos, but this way, I could go to any game and cheer for the chiefs..lol

How cool would that be to have Shanahan coaching my 2nd favorite TE in the business even if its only for 1 more year? Shannon Sharpe is my #1 favorite and Shanny would have coached both of them.........sweeeeeeet.

Anyway, would be cool if it happened. At least get rid of Herm and things would be looking much sweeter.

Good luck in the new year guys.

Oddly enough, I know more Bronco Fans here than I do Chiefs fans. When I moved here, I was pleasantly surprised.

Is it legal to wear leather pants on the sidelines?

Shanny needs some dope-ass combat boots. He can secure his laminated gameplan to his belt with a chain.

Larry would respect that.

What's gay is Herm's cashmere sweater vests and collars buttoned up to his adam's apple.

Enough of that picket-fence coaching.

Shanny's gonna snort coke in his office all night while he comes up with stylin' bootlegs and wicked cutback runs. Then he's gonna crank Juno Reactor over the Arrowhead PA and bust out his scripted plays.

Our new TD song:

If Jack Del Rio can wear a suit twice a year then it's only fair that Shanahan gets to express himself as well.

My biggest concern is Shanahan won only one divisional title since John Elway retired. Denver went to the playoffs four times out of six. Since the divisional title in 2004, the Broncos have barely gone .500 in an underperforming division.

Honestly, this year wasn't the first time the Broncos collasped, when all they needed to do was beat S.F. at Denver to get to the playoffs. You might disagree and I respect that, but what has Denver accomplished in the last ten years since Elway left?

I'm not arguing your overall point, but Herm Edwards has as many playoff appearances and titles as Shanahan.

My opinion of Shanahan can also be wrong.

I would actually support Shanahan being the head coach in the KC (although I don't see it happening)... but there would be a decent chance he'd keep Goonther around in some capacity IMO.
