LOOKS LIKE IRAN IS CHOOSING TO TIANANMEN OPTION

Watching a lot of videos of Basijis opening fire and rounding people up in the cover of darkness.

Got a bad feeling a lot of Iranians are going to disappear tonight...

No, that shows that they do fear facing the will of the citizenry.

There's a pretty big difference between the two. If there's a tiger in a cage that wants to kill me, I might fear the idea of being mauled by a tiger (ie. facing his will) but I'm not afraid of that tiger.

Yes, but I still think Brock's is valid. They're mowing 'em down because they ARE afraid. Afraid of losing their power and what the people will do them. And they'd be even more afraid, if they had guns too.

I agree completely with the guns part. Being that the citizenry doesn't have them, the powers that be aren't making plans to flee the country.

Fear can make people very angry and violent Saul. It may look otherwise but it's underneath the anger.

I'm not talking militarily when I said 'engage in battle' just having "THE NADS" to stand up for 'liberty and freedom' and "denouncing" the regime. Drawing clear distinctions.

Farking asshole police and Basiji are intercepting the injured at the hospitals. Foreign embassies are accepting them.

Yeah, right. Like Obots or Bushbots would ever give the government pause to fear them.

That's one of the main points Michael Moore hit in SiCKO.

All I know is that when the USA was in a similar situation with an election being stolen they let the SC handle it. A SC that contained justices nominated by the very party trying to steal the election...

Unlike the brave Iranian people, they did not use that election as a tipping point for becoming more suspect or skeptical of the government and become outraged. They did not get angry and take a stand.

Nope. They allowed a horrible POTUS do horrible things for 8 years even reelecting the fool after four. And worse yet, they proceeded to elect a lite version of him right after that.

Maybe we're just arguing semantics, but I say that the government is willing to use violence and possible vote manipulation because they aren't afraid that the citizenry has the power to do anything about it.

They may feel threatened, but I don't thinks they are scared.

Let's see, there was a Democrat in the White House, and a Supreme Court that leaned liberal 5-4. Otherwise, good point.
