I dont know that I am a "slurper" , I like Mays as well, have no problem with his run support. What separates Berry and Mays is the coverage ability. Speaking for myself, Berry is a preference over Mays but I wouldnt be upset if Mays was picked.

Mays is going to be this years Curry. Last year, people questioned Curry's ability to rush the passer, even though that wasnt how he was used at Wake. So it was assumed he couldnt or he would have been used that way. Same thing with Mays this year, he isnt asked to man up, so people will question if he has the ability. Think there are legitimate concerns on: hip turning, change of direction, route recognition, etc. But they are teachable holes in his game. His natural ability can make up for those concerns. Mays isnt going to lock up with a slot WR and shut him down, but should have no problems with TE's.

I've watched a lot of USC games this year, and my opinion of Mays has soured. I think he's a great athlete, but he's not a can't miss prospect.

I'm completely undecided about Berry and Mays ... don't hate'em, don't like'em yet but i don't consider that video a positive.

I like Mays a little more. Just like I thought Stafford was a better prospect than Sanchez. But it's stupid to tear down the other guy when both are amazing prospects for their position.

If Morgan turns out at free safety I would be more inclined to draft Mays bc I beleive he can play SS in the NFL. I know its not his position at USC but I think it might be his best position. But you really can't go wrong with either one of these guys both are hell of football players, which means Pioli will take Cody.

Mays is a great athelete, Berry is a better football player.

Berry is a better pass defender compared to Mays, who, really isn't all that great.
