I love Oghren. Unfortunately, I'm a Dwarf Warrior, so it's hard to keep him in my group. But I gotta respect the guy's outlook on life. All you gotta do is keep giving him booze....

Who is Falsi?


I didn't use Oghren except where it was forced on me because of a bug. Oghren never actually joined me, I had to use the console to add him after an invisible Oghren was talking in cutscenes.

I didn't do any hacking or any modding at that point. Others have had this bug too. For some reason Oghren never spawned outside of the deep roads where he is supposed to join you. And since he has to be in your party when you confront Branka, an invisible Oghren ended up talking in cutscenes. I remedied this by adding him to my party with the console. Everything was fine after that.

It was just a scripting bug on Bioware's end.

No.... that situation only happens if you'd been using the selectparty console command before that point. It's the selectparty console command that causes the Oghren glitch. You've obviously used the developerconsole before that point.

Maybe I did use the selectparty console command. I fooled around a bit with the commands, but I didn't think I saved it. It would explain why I never got this bug on different playthroughs.


I still don't know/remember who Falsi though.

I think I misspelled it, it's Felsi, but anyway, she wouldn't show up if you didn't have Oghren. She's part of a quest you can get once you reach a certain acquaintance with him.

Btw - so far the cost in well worth taking Arcane warrior as one of your mage specialties.

1 specialty point on Arcane Warrior
1 talent point on Combat Magic

you don't even have to sustain or activate anything and now my mage is wearing Juggernaut armor and has a higher defense level than my Tank.

2 skill points/no attribute points and your back to building you mage whatever way you choose only with triple the defensive ability.
