Playing the 1st one and wow it looks really good. never played the game for ps2, the only knock i have is the cut scenes are ps2 quality, but i can live with it. Spoiled by hd gaming for sure. Also i had no idea kratos consistently gets 2 women in his bed. definetly not a game for the kids

Apparently my bro in law knows people who sell brand new games. I am going to see if he can get me Batman and UC2 on the PS3. He told me half price, but i wanna see. Now, i just need money for games. lol

Unless you want backwards compatibility to play PS2 games on it, or you're going to instal Linux on it and use it like a computer, get the new one. $299 with a 120G HDD. it uses 1/3 less electricity of the "phat" and is 1/3 smaller, too. I'd wait a week until Black Friday because there are bound to be some free game deals or other added value promotions with various retailers.
