For some reason, I'm not sure that I believe the percentages in the results of this pole. They sure don't match the percentages relating to people I know.

I wonder if the loyal spouses are mostly the only ones who wish to answer.

I took the vows. I also waited until I was 28 to get married and knew this was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I don't agree that being human and fallible make it right to cheat on your wife. If that puts me on a high horse then so be it.

What if you call them scumbags? I'm not saying that I'm perfect or better than anybody else because of my choices. I'm thankful that I've not pulled the trigger despite opportunities. I've been tempted and have managed to abstain. It's possible. Being a scumbag or not a "real man" isn't a lifelong label. It's something that men are able to overcome. But cheating is very, very low. It's despicable. But our culture has glamorized it and accepts it. I don't accept THAT.

What if you are technically married? As in signed line (vows) to signed line (divorce) for seven years, but he walks out beginning of year two and you don’t even know if he’s alive the last 5.
