Giffords shot at meet n greet in front of a tucson safeway. Early reports 12 wounded. 4 confirmed dead, early reports say giffords was shot in the head. 3 of her staff are also wounded. No report from the hospital on giffords.

I didn't say this person was directly motivated by Palin, I was alluding to that kind of rhetoric some on the right had no issue using last election cycle, when they basically laughed off the idea some idiot might act on their words.

We'll see if it's not politically motivated. You're going to have a hard time convincing me at the moment that a congresswoman being gunned down at a public event wasn't politically motivated.
