I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

Uhhh it's certain he's not. Thought he had a chance to reach the 2nd tier of franchise Qbs but at best he's a top 15 guy. We're gonna be the jaguars and it sucks.

I honestly think we should draft a QB if there is a good one left in the mid rounds or earlier if a real good one is there for us. I also would like there to be open competition for the starting spot until someone actually wins the job fair and square. Cassel should not be promised the start. There should be open honest competition for the start. Croyle should be gone.

Cassel can't pick up a blitz-the word is out on him-and will NEVER have any succes until he corrects this major problem.

cassell is horibble any one who said hes any good is retarded and he only looks good against bad defenses when he plays good defenses u see that he actually sucks and every year we make it to the playoffs he will play horrible in the first game and we will be out the playoffs we wont even be in the playoffs next year we play the nfc north and afc east which is jets patriots bears packers vikings bills and lions not to mention our own division we go 6-10 next year and we play the colts and ravens next year i believe

Taking a 4-12 team to 10-6 isn't successful? Besides, the QB doesn't pick up the blitzes, the blockers are supposed to do that.
