HO-LY SHIT!

Currently on vacation, but checking my email at night. I got an email from the paralegal from where I worked earlier this week. Once I get home, one of the lawyers wants to have me come in for a formal interview Monday afternoon. It's down to me and one other person!!!

I feel like I could cry, and I will if I get this job.

That certainly sounds like an interview to me. Strange that they call it an assessment, I mean are they not going to talk to you or ask questions?!? To me anything beyond looking at someone's resume and application is an interview. I wonder why they call it that?

I just talked to an old friend who works there. She said the on-site assessment is math and behavioral questions. If someone is available, then I'll get an interview. If not, then they will call me back.

Something I don't mind doing. I want to get into the legal field after I'm done with school. They do have a legal department there, though. I'm just focusing on getting my foot in the door somewhere.

Well, I've learned something everywhere I've worked. Even the places that were awful and I didn't like ended up teaching me something. Hopefully this place helps you get where you want to be.

Some news report on the radio said that businesses today report that by far the largest mistake made by interviewees is answering a cell call or texting DURING the interview.

Who does that?

Apparently, a lot of people, but not you, so you'll be fine.
