Since there's an iPhone version, I figured I'd start a Droid version. After being handcuffed by Sprint's SERO plan for the past two years, I finally ordered my LG Optimus S last night. It'll be here in about 24 hours. So, what toys should I play with when it arrives?

Got it wirelessly tethered. Very excited.

The speeds weren't great. If you do the wired tether with a USB cord, do the speeds improve?

i haven't tested wireless tether, but here are my USB tethered speedtest results on tmobile 3g

Yes they do... 3g you should get 1-1.5 Mbps. 4g I average 4-7Mbps but have seen up to 12Mbps....

other way around...

Download this to the EVO .. if you're running vista/7/osx then you're good to go

if you're running xp you might need to install something..

Didn't see it in the app store. I keep seeing the codes like you posted, but have no idea how to access those.

Install google goggles from the app store then use that to take a picture of the code i posted

Awesome it worked.

However, it says my SD card is busy. I tried accessing the SD card menu in the settings and for the total space it says it's unavailable.

Could the rooting have fried the SD card?
