Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Anybody own a SM MP40? Looking for a service weapon and it's either going to be a glock 22 40 or SM mp40 .40. seem to be around the same price and both get solid reviews.

I bought mine for ccw thinking it would conceal easily in casual dress(jeans and tshirt) but haven't got around to getting my ccw so mine sits in the safe with everything else unless I take it to the range. The gun would be good imho for its intended use as a LE backup or ccw weapon but not much of a shooter as I leave mine in the safe most of the time.

I'll second that. I have a Harris on my AR, a .270, and a .308. They adjust easy and fast and are a sturdy platform.

Re: Keltec 9mm - Ruger has made a lot of money over the past few years by immitating Kel Tec .380s, and figured they'd try it again w/a new 9mm 'clone'. It'll cost more, but there are those who think the improved 'finish' on the guns may be worth it. Before you 'pull the trigger', take a look at both. I like both of 'em well enough, but don't own either (when it comes to belly guns, I still like my Bersa). For anyone interested in Kel Tec, here's an owner's group that has a lot of useful info on how to keep 'em running. http://www.ktog.org/

I couldn't get my firing pin out either. Everything else during cleaning disassembled/assembled as advertised, but I couldn't get that little pin out. Does it really matter much? How dirty can that get?

IDK man, but I'm rolling to a gunsmith tomorrow, see if he can get it out. Super excited about getting my gun dura-coated, just sucks that I won't have it back for like a month, lol.

yup, I saw the one about Military channel's ultimate weapons, won their top ten CQB weapons list. I just mentioned here hoping to get my hands on one someday soon. I had seen one before, but not fired it and didn't know about the recoil system until the program.

I'm close to buying an on duty pistol. I need to sell my tactical mossberg shotgun first though. I never shot it anyways. I'm more into a gun I can actually take out to the range and have fun with. I'll get a Remington someday. So if anyone wants a mossberg 18.5" barrel w/ extra pistol grip it's for sale.

Anyways here's the pistol im seriously interested in.
