YABBA DABBA DOO, THE KING IS GONE....and SO are You.
I'm off to Ebay to find an Elvis decantor and a Flintstone Jelly bean jar to celebrate. I'm late to the party and was away from communication and found out yesterday. While driving through BF Nebraska late last night in a snow storm, I heard a song that was perfect(for me) for the current Chiefs situation relating to Carl and Herm. (G) Last night I broke the seal on a Jim Beam decanter That looks like (D) Elvis I (C) soaked the label (Am) off (D7) a Flintstone Jelly Bean (G) jar I cleared us off a place on that one little table that you (D) left us And (C) pulled me up a (D7) big ole piece of (G) floor I (C) pulled the head off (Am) Elvis Filled (C) Fred up to his (Am) pelvis Yabba Dabba (G) Doo, the (C) King is (G) gone And (D) so are (G) you (C) 'Round about 10 we all got to (D7) talking (C) 'Bout Graceland, Bedrock and (D7) such (C) The conversation finally turned to (D7) women (C) But they said they didn't get around too (D7) much (C) Elvis said, "Find 'em (D7) young" And Fred said (G) "Old Fashioned girls are (C) fun" Yabba Dabba (G) Doo, the (C) King is (G) gone And (D) so are (G) you (C) Later on it finally (D7) hit me (C) That you wouldn't be 'a comin' home no (D7) more (C) 'Cause this time I know you won't (D7) forgive me (C) Like all of them other times (D7) before (C) Then I broke Elvis' (D7) nose Pouring the (G) last drop from his (C) toes Yabba Dabba (G) Doo, the (C) King is (G) gone And (D) so are (G) you (C) Yabba Dabba (G) Doo, the(C) King is (G) gone And (D) so are (G) you |

OK, so I have CP set to show 80 posts per page. This thread has 4 pages. The "Carl resigns" thread (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showt...61#post5297161) has 15 pages. Goes to show you that the pain given to us by Carl is in no way comparable to the shittiness that Herm has given us. Oh, and the Pioli Hired thread was 8 pages. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showt...11#post5385611
Is this just because we knew it would happen? In Pioli we trust?

The last few days, this has really begun to sink in. Herm finally feels like the past. No longer a part of the franchise. It feels good.

The other thread got me to thinking about how much I like seeing this thread title on the front page.
Thread bump police should PM Bob Dole. Bob Dole is a man of action. Dinny |

Me too. My first thought is why? It couldn't happen to such a nicer guy.

He has a very small part of my undying love and affection for the above. Apart from that, the horror of all that was Herm, may never fully leave my nightmares.
