Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

Just rented "Insidious" yesterday. It was my daughter's 16th birthday. She had a friend spend the night. So I started the movie up for the two girls in the living room at about 11:30 at night then went to sleep. Ahh...good times. I watched it myself today. Good movie.

Watched Rango last night with the wife and kid. The wife didn't like it. I thought it was pretty good.

I was just never exposed to them growing up. I guess my dad just didn't like them.. I've seen plenty of 80's and pre-80's movies that I love or enjoy so as long as they're good and not too cheesey I should be able to enjoy these as well. Predator, The Godfathers, Scarface, Coming to America, Trading Places, Beverley Hills Cop, A Christmas Story, Aliens, Big, Ferris Beuhler's Day Off, Karate Kid, Halloween, pretty much all of the James Bonds .. All movies I love.

I've watched some movies lately.

Dead Snow -- perfect zombie gorefest, 4/5.

Brain Dead - surprisingly got 4/5 on Netflix. Self-claimed "low budget" zombie film. Thirty minutes in I knew why it was 4/5 stars. There was 5 fully nude women, lol. I give it a 2/5.

Zookeeper - went with my family, didn't pay for the ticket, fortunately. It was okay, 2/5.

Watched "Way of the Gun" last night on Netflix. Havent seen it in awhile.....what a great movie.
