I don't think their tablets are overpriced. Most of the newer tablets coming out are all about in the same range.

Now if we were talking about their laptops or desktops then I definitely agree they are overpriced. That is why they don't sell very many of them compared to ones running Windows.

Yes, the used vs new market. Personally, I like everything brand new. You get a 1 year warranty. And Apple has excellent customer service if you have an Apple store nearby.

Royalties, no. I've made a killing on their stock, though. Bought a lot when it was at $80 after the crash in 2008. It hit 400 a couple of days ago. They just keep selling.

And FWIW, I'm only mentioning the article because the comparison in units sold is hilarious. Motorola hopes to sell as many Xooms in a year as Apple sells iPads in 2 weeks? Geezus.

I think the combo nokia/microsoft tab & the amazon tablet are the next big tablets coming out.
