Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

If you had kept reading you would have found a pretty fair and accurate assessment. A valid point doesn't suddenly become invalid when a non-expert espouses it.

Then I will jump on the bandwagon once again..Of course until he has a bad game. Then I will be the 1st brokedick drafturbator-fluffer to say 'I told you so.'

I did not want Clausen AT ALL. I also wanted Freeman in 2009 and was hoping we'd get him in the 2nd round, which of course was traded for Cassel.

Drafting a QB in the 2nd round is pretty much worthless.

At no point did I think that his somewhat less shitty performance indicated that he was the answer at QB. Backing off is not the same as flip-flopping; it just means that his performance over that particular didn't warrant the same level of criticism, and so I saw fit not to shit on him quite so severely.

The only thing that could possibly lure me onto the Cassel bandwagon is a superb performance in a playoff win. Which would, of course, require that he magically transform into a franchise quarterback, which is highly improbable, unfortunately.

Also, **** YOU BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nor does it make it valid either....

Its an opinion based on his perception, nothing more...

that's what's called analysis, like watching footwork ( is it good or isn't it), throwing mechanics ect... It's just a nice cop out or yours.

Your point?

It would be called an "analysis" if it was someone qualified to give that "analysis"...

But I dont want a brick layer giving me his "analysis" on my knee surgery, just like I dont want a DR give me his "analysis" on building my outside fireplace...

Just like I dont put much stock into guys like Nick Wright or Teicher... They are just guys with opinions like you and I...

But if you want to qoute them as fact and live and die by their articles... Be my guest.

This is hilarious.

Would josh freeman be a different player right now had he fallen to round 2?

What about mark sanchez? Drafted by the jets. only thing different is draft spot. What would make him a different player today?

And your analysis is as valid as theirs.

But if someone like Steve Young, Gannon, Sims, etc.. Want to give an "analysis" on his footwork, reads, release, etc...

Then I would be willing to listen and accept their "analysis" of the QB position...

But to take someone like Teicher, Wright, Whitlock and others here that have a personal agenda just isnt going to fly. If you want to debate something without a personal vendetta, I am all for it. But do get into a dick measure Cassel hate festival? Its old and wore out... Nothing new to see...
