Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

Excellent post and I feel the same as you. I have tried to stick up for Cassel but he just doesn't have it. All he does is throw checkdowns because doesn't have the arm strength or accuracy to throw the deep pass on a consistent basis.

**** Cassel, I'm done defending him. This game was the last straw. All I saw him do was throw shitty screens and checkdowns the entire game. You know somethings wrong when your back is getting more receptions then your ****ING recievers. Even when this dipshit tried to pass downfield it ended in an interception. While I don't think he should shoulder the blame for this loss, he showed many of the poor traits from last season. The -13 yard sack which led to a missed 49 yard FG was just plain bad.

I've decided to take the same approach to this franchise that I did with KSU Bball. If you aren't going to try (and not using available cap space to improve glaring weaknesses is an example) then I won't spend a dime on this mutt franchise until that changes.

No, the season isn't over, but to watch this team throw short of the sticks on 3rd and everything/anything is ****ing ridiculous.

Cassell is merely a symptom of a very sick franchise.

Without Weis around, Cassel is just a disaster. We need to trade up for a real QB in the 2012 Draft. We should pick up Landry Jones. The jerk over at Walterfootball.com has us picking 15th, but taking a cornerback!! Idiot. We need a QB, pure and simple. And he's ranked Jones a top-15 pick, so why not?

A lot of quarterbacks looked good today. Making throws on the run, zipping the ball on a string, and even making great runs when necessary. Why, for God sakes why, can't the Chiefs ever have a good QB??? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the last two we had that were worthy of actually seeing the field were Gannon and Montana. That's front office fail for the majority of the last 20 years.
