Chiefs Cassel did, does, and will always suck - Page 83

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

John Elway - twice
Peyton Manning - once
Eli Manning - once

7 of the 19 Super Bowls have been won by the first overall pick.

I would love for this team to go say 9 and 7 gain experience and beat a few good teams along the way and send this draft, hell the next draft, mortgage arrowhead, Eric Hosmer whoever the hell the team wants to get Luck. That would be the perfect scenario in my opinion.

Yeah but this town is only big enough for one Luck.

On that note could you imagine the love this town would give Luck if he came in and is what we all think he will be. He could rob the bank while banging the mayors wife and still get a pat on the back.

KC is so starved for a qb I dunno if they would know what to do if one was here.

Yes, but no QB since Manning has had nearly the talent or ceiling as Luck. Guys like him are very, very rare and if you get a chance at one you go for it. Why take a chance on second best when you got someone of his caliber there? About the only way we will get him is to draft #1.

Casual fans think Matt Cassel walks on ****ing water. Read AA, WPI or Arrowhead Pride. Or if you really want a laugh, read Facebook comments.

This is the only place where there are some educated fans that realize we're spinning our wheels with Cassel at the helm.

this. Cassel can chew up the bottom of the league in passing by dinking and dunking, but on the stat sheet looks like he's throwing it all over the place, when in reality offensive passing game is very college-like, with quick slants and checkdowns. Cassel doesn't have the balls to throw it into tight coverage because he isn't confident enough he can squeeze it in there.
