Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

All checkdowns are not created equal. Checkdowns that hit a receiver in stride as he separates from the defender is not the same as checkdowns that have a flanker coming to a complete stop behind the line of scrimmage, or a crossing pattern where the receiver is defying the laws of physics to muscle back to the ball thrown behind him.

Did you watch Flacco's performance the other night in Jacksonville. Seems to me you have because you described him perfectly in this post.

I am sorry that some people took this as a 'racial' slur when my intention was a subtle mexican-on-mexican 'class' slur. I have apologized to KcNative for the misunderstanding and explained my understanding of the term and how it is used where I live.

I apologize to you and anyone else if it is offended you...but it is NOT a racial attack as much as a socio-ecomic (trailer trash...type of thing) attack.

With that said I dont feel like arguing semantics any more with people who don't even use the term, the only person who I hope /care accepts my words is KCNative.

I understand your point (that ytoure trying to make) but what you fail to realize it is APPLES and oranges....Even your own source said it was a MEXICAN slang word...And yes I have called mexicans mojados, I have TONS of mexican friends and speak Spanish and go to mexican grocery stores etc etc etc...

It is not a racial word...You read it wrong. It is used BY mexicans as a CLASS word at least around here. It is not a racial thing...it is more of a CLASS insult.....For the last time.

1)It says it is a slur for "person of Hispanic heritage" because that is the LITERAL translation (your back is wet from crossing a river)...Not in the racial way you are thinking of the term...the LITERAL way. Mojado means wet.

2. I did not misread. You are holding on to a minority view on what the word means. It may mean that to YOU, but that is not what it means to most everyone else.

Im not....person of Hispanic heritage (in english) is not the same thing as Mojado (to me)...I think thats where our problem lies...I dont care if you think I am right or not...

I NEVER USED THE TERM that you have in your #3.

Ive already explained this repeatedly...its not the same thing. h20back is a term used in english by whites as a racial term. It is not at all the same thing as mojado. Its just the closest LITERAL translation...I apologize if you think I would rather be right than know the truth but...that is the basic truth. Its a completely different thing to use one term than the other.

You say you're trying to have a conversation, but if we cannot agree on that basic fact, than the conversation has to end...I'm not trying to 'be right' I am just trying to point out that a conversation is impossible unless we can agree what the words mean!
