Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

Ok, let's compare him to a rookie.

Andy Dalton has as many 300 yard passing days in 10 games as Matt Cassel has in 39 games in KC.

D'oh.
How about this:

Matt Cassel has TEN games in his tenure here where he's thrown for LESS than 150 yards, including the Denver game in which he was injured. (I was nice and set the bar at 150, since he's got several games where he threw for between 150 and 175 too.)

The rifle-armed CHAD PENNINGTON also had 10, including 4 games that he did not finish due to injury.

(I won't mention that Pennington has started about twice as many games as Cassel.)

It's funny that people once compared Cassel to Pennington.

Freaking INSULT to Pennington and mediocre QBs everywhere.

Would Cassel have made the team this year if he and Bowe didn't go on that white hot tear for about 9 or 10 games last year?

What's really sad is that I didn't compare attempts.

As a full-time starter, Pennington's YPA number is almost a FULL YARD higher than Cassel's...

This is just so I can get a quick response. But, which thread should I post my rant about the future of the Chiefs since I can't seem to find where I can start a thread of my own?

I imagine you can't start a thread until you have a certain # of posts.

You mean the Todd Collins and Tyler Thigpen were replaced just when they just started showing their greatness rant?

Thanks for trolling me, real mature. And no, it has nothing to do with them in particular. Way to jump to conclusions.

I printed out hundreds of copies of this post, and I wallpapered my bathroom with them.

I got rid of the porn magazines in the bathroom. I need only open my eyes now and I find suitable fapping material. It's inescapable.

No matter how Haley's firing affects Cassel's future, we know one thing for sure: Matt Cassel sucks.

I'm Rick Harrison and this is my pawn shop. I work here with my old man and my son, Big Hoss. Everything in here has a story and a price.

One thing I've learned after 21 years: Matt Cassel sucks

IMO, Cassel's durability will go out the window because of the hits he's taking because of holding the ball too long. It will finally catch up to the 30 year old turd of a QB.
