Looks like Norv turner getting fired
According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune, it would require a "miracle turnaround" for Norv Turner to stay on as the Chargers' head coach in 2012.
"It will take a miracle turnaround for Norv Turner to be the coach beyond this year," said Acee on NFL Network's Around the League segment on Monday. The Chargers have dropped five straight games and are in last place in the AFC West. ESPN's Jerry Rice also blamed Turner for the Chargers' 2011 collapse on SportsCenter Monday. "Norv Turner is one of those coaches that just can’t you over the hump," Rice said. "I played under this guy." The Chargers appear

JFC. Seriously, I pity Chargers fans if they keep Norv. It's been clear for AT LEAST two years now that he is never going to get them anywhere. He tops out at OC. He's Wade Phillips nemesis or whatever.

Give me Norv as OC and Wade as DC and I'll take just about anybody who doesn't get in their way as HC. But either as HC.

Sad to say, I could easily see a scenario where the chiefs follow the same path.

Egotistic gm can't get along with the coach. Nobody wants to work for egotistic gm. The chiefs settle for a coach. And again, I worry big time that Romeo is basically norv turner.
