Don't believe there's a dedicated thread, and since they're starting to release information now, I figure it's time for one.

**** Yeah. But it will have to wait till the first of the year. Life took a giant shit on my head this week. My ex has reneged on visitation arrangements for my daughter over the holidays, so I'm in the midst of dealing with a lawyer on that so that I can see my daughter, which won't be until the new year. My HD crashed in my gaming machine at home, and I haven't had a chance to mess with it. One of my favorite professors at work died, and the funeral was yesterday. After the funeral, I got a phone call telling me my mom was rear ended by a ****ing school bus, totaling her car and putting her in the hospital. And one of my fish died.

So... geeking on Space Slug hasn't been the highest priority for me as of late. But after I get a handle on all that, I'll be joining you guys.

Sorry to hear all that, man. That's rough. The main thing is that your mom is OK. Hopefully you can work things out so you can see your daughter. We'll be waiting for you patiently on ol' Space Slug.

I bought this, but I wish I'd gone and gotten the disks. At this rate my first month will be up by the time I finish downloading.

I take it you guys are Republic on Space Slug? If so, yeah. Might try Empire too on a different server. (I assume you can't be both on the same server, right?)

I'm actually not sure on that, I would think not, but haven't actually tried. We have both on Spaceslug - The Right Fifty Three (Rep) and Wookiecrisps (Emp). Not sure how active Wookiecrisps are and I haven't seen too many posts from them in this thread, but the 53 have 5 members so far and we are all pretty active in game. Barret is already in his 40's, Huff and I are in late teens and Silock is probably 25+ by now.

I haven't tried it, but I'm pretty sure you can have characters from both factions on the same server. I do know that you get 8 character slots per server.

Hit me up in game if you want to join The Right Fifty Three (Republic).

Its just me and Kaplin on the Empire side in the guild. There are many others, but not many from this site.

I almost invited a really good trooper to our guild, but he was already spoken for, I guess, so we remain comprised of CP members exclusively.

We got a bit in the guild, but Kaplin said its just him and I from CP. I just joined like 2 days ago. He would know more then i do.
