Not sure... their hockey team lost to MU last night 14-3. I had no idea Turner Gill was still coaching at Kansas.

It's like college basketball, except a 6th person is sitting in the goal.

So Lew Perkins bribed the Orange Bowl committee and Keeston Terry really wanted to go to Missouri but got stuck going to KU instead?

I think we should keep a list of these. They're so fun.

Honestly when this year is over my give a shit meter goes almost to zero. I won't really give a damn about what happens with MU anymore.

Here, here!

It'll be weird here on CP, and local sports radio hearing about the SEC when I could care less.

Petro tried to talk some SEC football earlier this month.

It was "strange" to say the least.

It'll be different. They said they'll make it work (radio wise) but when they do a MU segment and it has no barring on anything local, and they know half, or more of their listeners are tuning out, how does that work. I guess like like when KK does a cooking segment.

Like I mentioned earlier, it's ironic that the SEC just validated KU going to the Orange Bowl over Mizzou by sending non-division, non-conference winner Alabama to the BCS Championship game. Mizzou has been dissed by the SEC before ever showing up for their first game.

I guess fans only really care about their team anyway, KU football is only interesting to KU fans, just like MU football is only interesting to MU fans. But when they're talking about the local schools I like to listen because it impacts my school. MU will no longer do that for two of the local schools. Except for the history aspect, when they spend a third of their time talking MU they might as well be talking Arkansas.
