In need of a comeback

Nothing is new anymore. Everything that is cool now is just re-hashed from things that were cool in the past. Transformers, Iraq wars, crack...those were all big parts of my childhood that have been brought back into style.

What was huge before disappearing that CP should bring back?

If there is enough response, maybe I'll start a poll/contest to see what product we can agree to bring back. The winner will not be banned, so feel free to nominate away.

I'll start with waterbeds.

Letting your kids play outside unchaperoned without worrying about the next time you see them is when they find their corpse in a ditch.

Knowing that when you got in a fight you weren't using any weapons and neither was the other guy.

How about the days when you could let your kids go trick or treating. When I was a kid we would take off at sunset and fill up a pillow case full of candy, come home and dump it and go back for more. Our parents did not walk with us or even worry about us being gone for 2 or 3 hours and had no reason to be~

How 'bout the good ol' days when women were considered chattel and it was legally impossible to rape your wife.
