This show isn't about Zombies. It's about survivors, how they deal with it and how it changes them. The "filler" is what the show is about. The action is necessary b/c it is bound to bound(wow autocorrect) in this type of world.

As for them being stupid, some of them are, imo it's Shane, Lori, Carl, Andrea and now Rick being too big of a bitch to stand for his own convictions and letting Shane's opinion of how he handles things affect his decision making. His own insecurity is going to he a weakness, already is.

The show is ****ing predictable as hell! The only "HOLY SHIT" moment I have had was the little girl showing up.

Don't get high and mighty. I am not a "Mindless viewer". The writing is pedestrian at best so far, and they better thank God that Shane carried the show for the entire 2nd season.

eh...different strokes for different folks.

I like to think that people (under the duress of the constant threat of being eaten alive by zombies) may not always make the most "logical" decisions.

it's easy to play monday morning zombie-apocalypse QB.......but after watching zombies eat your friends....your friends turn into zombies (and then subsequently shot in the head by you).....you're bound to make a few dumb decisions here and there.

I enjoy that the show focuses on the psychological impact and angle, moreso than the physical side (although that comes into play at times as well)....

But again....different strokes, for different folks.

I like the show, too, I just had to set him straight. He thinks that we are dumbasses that need explosions and action to keep our interest, when in fact we are quite the opposite. I like creative and interesting stories and character development instead of retread story lines.

Maybe Breaking Bad has spoiled me. I don't know.

There was an option when they first saved him. They opted to treat him as a POW. Now killing him is the smart thing to do.

I wouldn't 'forgive and forget' people who chained me up in a barn, beat the shit out of me for days with the threat of death hovering over my head. It would be hard for me to view them as any more righteous than the lunatics I was already running with.

It's obvious at this point the only reason they pulled him off that fence was a decision made soley to ease Rick's self righteous conscience. If they wanted to save him, they would have treated him entirely different. It was stupid as **** to bring him back to their camp with anything other than the intent to save him.

As for running with a group of lunatics... I think most people would rather survive with lunatics than die. Hell, the fact that they're lunatics means 'leaving' alive might not be an option.

I don't know, but when the kid told the story about the rape of the teenage girls and he made the comment that they left them alive, I thought that next season those three will end up helping Rick's group when they meet up with the 30.

The writing has been so contrived this whole 2nd season. I've been steadily losing interest in this show. It's so meh at this point in time. I still watched the last episode, but man, I'm quickly realizing I'm caring less and less.

I like the show a lot. All the nitpicking I do is mostly just for fun. I look forward to the show every week though. It's one of my favorites.
